My stay at Travelodge Ludlow Woofferton was a mixed experience. While I was impressed by the friendly staff and enjoyed a restful night's sleep thanks to the comfortable bed, the hotel's condition left much to be desired. It felt quite old and rundown, which detracted from my overall enjoyment of the stay. The location was convenient for touring Shropshire, but it really needs a refurbishment to enhance the experience. 😐✨

The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the Shropshire area, but I did notice some noise disturbances during the night from vehicles arriving.
Dining

While the hotel didn't offer cooked breakfasts, there were plenty of dining options nearby, including a Starbucks across the car park for coffee.

The amenities were basic, and I missed having air conditioning, but the availability of fans helped a little during warm nights.

I had a generally positive experience at Travelodge Ludlow Woofferton. The staff truly stood out with their friendly and accommodating service, and the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. However, I found the lack of air conditioning quite uncomfortable during my stay, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the breakfast offered could use some improvement in quality versus price.
Rooms
6.0
The room was decent in size and cleanliness, though the mattress was quite firm and the pillows didn't provide much support. I appreciated the clean water facilities, but the temperature control was lacking, making it feel warmer than I'd prefer.
Service
10.0
The staff were really good and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were friendly, helpful, and offered personalized touches like storing perishable items for me.
Location

Conveniently located just off the main road, I found the hotel quiet at night despite nearby traffic. It’s a short drive to Ludlow, which has plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants to explore.
Dining
5.0
While the hotel breakfast was overpriced and not very satisfying, I enjoyed dining at the nearby Salwey Arms for a much better cooked breakfast option. The Starbucks next door was a handy choice for quick coffee.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had good parking facilities, which was a plus. However, the wifi being chargeable felt outdated and should be complimentary for guests at all times.

I had a decent stay at Travelodge Ludlow Woofferton, which provided a clean and spacious room in a good location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which truly enhanced my experience. The only downsides were the less-than-ideal lighting in the room and the fact that the Starbucks next door closed quite early, limiting my options for a late-night snack.
Rooms
8.0
The spacious room accommodated my family well, but the lighting was not great compared to newer hotels.
Service
10.0
The service was really good, especially from Cilla, who went above and beyond to resolve booking issues cheerfully.
Location

The location was convenient for exploring Ludlow and nearby areas, though the proximity to the A49 made for some occasional noise.

While having a Starbucks nearby was convenient, I found it overpriced. Fortunately, I enjoyed an excellent meal at The Sawley Arms next door instead.
Facilities

Parking was easy and the communal areas were clean, but I wish there were more dining options in the hotel itself.

I found Woofferton Travelodge to be a charming spot providing great value, especially considering my stay cost around £55. While I missed having a full breakfast service, the nearby options in Ludlow made up for it. The peacefulness at night was a highlight, coupled with friendly staff who were eager to assist with my needs.
Rooms

Dining options were plentiful with great spots nearby, like the Salwey Arms. While I found the restaurant a bit overpriced for what it offered, the convenience of having a local pub and a Starbucks close to the hotel was appreciated.

The hotel facilities were adequate, but I noticed some minor inconveniences. For instance, there was no lift, which made handling my luggage a bit challenging, especially with stairs involved.
